Norfolk

When I started this blog, I vowed I would never apologize for lack of posting. “It’s my blog, and I’ll do what I want!”, I thought. Well, things change and here I am apologizing for my absence as of late. Things have been, busy. To say the least. I’m thinking a focus shift is in order here for CHL, but it’s still a work in progress. I won’t ask that you stick around for my nonsensical ramblings and somewhat ridiculous photography, but I do want to sincerely thank those of you that do. So thank you, kind readers. For dealing with my intermittent posting and scattered thoughts. It really does mean a lot.

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s what’s been going on in my life the past week or so.

I took a trip to Norfolk to see this dude.

I went fishing.

I took exactly one shot at a target from about 75 yards away. And I made exactly one bullseye.

I went running in a new city.

I saw my number.

I read a fantastic book with my toes in the sand and the ocean close by.

As for now, I’m in Atlanta. 13.1 scheduled early tomorrow morning. 26.2 for the BFF. My only hope and prayer is that we make it to the finish line intact. Wish us luck!
