Saturday definitely went down as one of my very favorite days.

We slept in and woke up slow. After we got our lazy well rested butts out of bed, we realized a farmer’s market was occurring literally right outside the hotel.

Um, yeah. That’s pretty much my ideal morning. We sipped some coffee and wandered around, taking in the many different kiosks and sampling until we were full.

I also picked up a hottie. Check him out in the background above. ;)

Oh my gah. That bitchin’ sauce was so.good. I’m already on a mission to re-create it because apparently it’s only available on the west coast. It’s vegan, gluten free and almond based. SO yum.

We ended up getting much too much food. But seriously, it was worth it. We came out with some nectarines, pesto jack cheese, chipotle bitchin’ sauce, okra masala, some sort of indian lentil dip, avocado and cilantro hummus, a baguette and garlic naan. None of it really went together, but we ate it all together anyway.

After the farmer’s market, we moseyed on down to the south side of the city for massages!

After the most relaxing massage of my life (okay, this was only my second massage), we went to a cozy little bistro called Chocolat, where we enjoyed wine, cheese, olives and crusty bread.

After a light dinner, we headed to Petco Park to watch the Padres take on the Mariners.

The Padres lost, which was to be expected, but it was a fun time nonetheless.

I could really get used to this whole vacation thing.
