Surprise!
2Another vegetarian holiday dilemma! Today is Roast Leg of Lamb Day.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a leg of lamb. I’ve had lamb once at Pomegranate with red wine. I remember it being a perfect pairing but I wasn’t super impressed. I really like LambChop’s Play Along, though.
My family went to Disney World in the summer of 2008 and I absolutely had to have a turkey leg while I was there. Good thing I had my sister take a picture of me.
Speaking of family vacations, I came home this weekend to surprise my mom for mother’s day. She had no idea and was super excited to find me home. 
I got home a little bit before my mom so my brother and I decided to be nonchalantly playing the Wii when she walked in.
Surprise!
Hugs and tears ensued.
My sister also came home from college today and my stepsister was over, so we had a full house.
Me, my two brothers, my sister, my stepsister, and my mom.
We had a little photo shoot outside. Billy didn’t want to cooperate so much.
My mom’s mother’s day gift from my grandmother was a pineapple corer. Of course we had to test it out.
Billy held the pineapple while my mom cored it.
The verdict is in: pineapple corers rule. Fresh pineapple for everyone! My mom says it works well and it was much easier than she thought it was going to be.
Time to watch the Predators game with the fam and enjoy some Keebler Fudge Grahams.
