Happy Eggs Benedict Day!
I’m in Atlanta visiting my friends and we went out to lunch brunch today at a cute little restaurant, Front Page News.
It just so happened Eggs Benedict was on the menu so naturally I had to order it, sans bacon.
I haven’t had a drippy egg in a looong time and today it was quite delicious. The potato bites that came alongside the meal were perfectly crispy and very enjoyable. I must learn how to make those little potato nuggets. I should also learn how to poach an egg. And make hollandaise sauce.
I’m starting a new challenge: celebrate every food holiday for an entire year. I’m using the word “celebrate” loosely. My goal is to eat, cook, create or interact with the featured food of the day, and of course, blog about it. Some days that involve meat might get a little tricky, but I’m excited to get creative and have fun with this project.
